Getting a lead at home did not stop newly-promoted Monza from falling to a 2-1 defeat at home against Udinese.
Udinese’s first win of the new season, and Monza’s third defeat in three matches.

Luis Alberto’s stunning strike kept Lazio unbeaten and handed Inter Milan their first league defeat. Just like in their most recent visit to Rome (against Lazio), Inter Milan was at the wrong end of another 3-1 score.

Torino got their second win of the season to remain unbeaten by handing newly promoted Cremonese a 2-1 home defeat. Cremonese has now lost in all three of the opening matches.

Juventus dropped a set of two points in consecutive matches.
Juventus had the ideal start when Dusan Vlahovic scored from a free kick in the second minute to put them in the lead. Vlahovic’s goal was good enough for just a point at the end as Tammy Abraham found Roma the equalizing goal in the 69th minute.
Both Juventus and Roma remain unbeaten.

Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud provided the goals for AC Milan to bounce from the points dropped against Atalanta in the last round with a win at home against Bologna. The 2-0 score kept Bologna without a league victory.

Teun Koopmeiner’s goal in the 50th minute got Atalanta three points from a 1-0 win against Hellas Verona.

Two goals in each half got Salernitana their first win of the season in a 4-0 win at home against Sampdoria.

Napoli dropped points in a goalless draw with Fiorentina, while Lecce and Empoli share the points in a 1-1 draw as both teams remain without a league win.
