Leece win their first match in five league games by getting a ‘2-0’ victory against a Cremonese side that came into the game on a high from Coppa Italia against Roma.
Cremonese remains without a win in the league.
Roma was in desperate need after losing to Napoli in the last round, and getting eliminated by Cremonese in the Coppa Italia. Paulo Dybala assisted Roger Ibanez and Tammy Abraham in the opening six minutes of the match to see that Roma pick the three points from a 2-0 win against Empoli.
Sassuolo followed a ‘3-2’ victory against AC Milan with another win (1-0) against an Atalanta side that played with a numerical disadvantage from the 30th-minute mark.
Atalanta ended the game with 9 men. Joakim Maehle picked the first red card in the 30th minute. Luis Murial entered the game in the 80th minute and saw red about 6 minutes into the added time.
Back-to-back wins for Bologna after they followed a ‘2-0’ win against Spezia with a ‘2-1’ away win against Fiorentina.
Fiorentina is now without a league win in four matches (3 defeats).
Inter Milan has gotten the better of AC Milan (again).
Had he been more clinical in front of the net, Lautaro Martinez could’ve scored more goals in Inter Milan’s ‘1-0’ win against AC Milan.
Inter Milan got the bragging rights and the three important points to keep up pace with Napoli.
