::: Comoros was the only away side to win on the day, defeating Tunisia 1-0. Four games ended in a draw, with two of those producing goalless results. South Africa recorded the biggest victory, winning 5-0 against Congo, while Senegal triumphed over Malawi 4-0. Cameroon and Côte d’Ivoire were both 4-1 winners at home, beating Kenya and Sierra Leone, respectively. Benin also won by a three-goal margin, defeating Rwanda. Egypt and Angola emerged as 2-0 winners against Mauritania and Niger, respectively. Mali, Nigeria, and Uganda all secured 1-0 victories at home.
