In the Premier League, an unbeaten Manchester City hosted a winless Southampton and secured a narrow win to stay unbeaten, extending Southampton’s struggles this season.

League games from the round in La Liga and Primeira Liga spill into the day, with Mallorca hosting Athletic Club in La Liga, while promoted AVS host Porto in the Primeira Liga. Mallorca and Athetic Club remained even on points in La Liga after playing out a goalless draw, while Porto grabbed three points in the Primeira Liga by thrashing AVS 5-0.
FIRST LEAGUE WIN
Almere City, Angers, and Crystal Palace each picked up their first league win of the season this weekend. Almere City secured a victory over NEC Nijmegen in the Eredivisie on Friday, Angers defeated Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1 on Saturday, and Crystal Palace earned a win against Tottenham on Sunday. All three teams achieved their victories playing at home.
FIRST LEAGUE DEFEAT
Utrecht lost their first Eredivisie game of the season in a 2-0 home defeat to an unbeaten Feyenoord. Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid were the only two teams in La Liga without a defeat since the start of the season, and both saw their runs end this weekend—Real Madrid’s streak was halted with a 4-0 home defeat to Barcelona, while Atlético suffered a narrow loss in Seville against Real Betis. Lens and Monaco, along with Paris Saint-Germain, were the unbeaten teams in Ligue 1. After this weekend, only Paris Saint-Germain retains that status, with Lens falling 2-0 at home to Lille and Monaco losing 2-1 away against Nice.
STILL UNBEATEN
Two teams in the Bundesliga remain unbeaten (Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig), sharing identical records at the top end of the standings, with Bayern Munich edging ahead on goal difference. PSV Eindhoven leads the Eredivisie title race unbeaten and with a perfect winning record. Despite an 11-point lead over Feyenoord, these two remain the only unbeaten clubs in the Eredivisie after 10 rounds. Just like PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie, Sporting CP leads the Primeira Liga title race with a perfect winning record. Manchester City tops the Premier League title race as the only unbeaten side, while Paris Saint-Germain holds the same status in Ligue 1. Juventus is the only unbeaten team in Serie A, though they are not the team at the top of the table.
STILL WINLESS
RKC Waalwijk is the only winless side left in the Eredivisie. The search for a league win continues for three clubs in the Premier League—Ipswich Town, Southampton, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Two clubs in the Bundesliga, Bochum and Holstein Kiel, are also looking for their first league win of the season.
