The top three teams picked up three points.
RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund keep hold of their positions.
A hammering from Bayern Munich knocked Frankfurt out of the top four.
Leverkusen used a win in the final match of the round to replace Frankfurt.

The bottom 5 positions in the league are still occupied by the same teams from the previous round.
Koln was the only team in the 5 to earn a point in this round.


Mainz faced another defeat in the league after a narrow defeat against Monchengladbach.

FC Koln came from a very early goal down to get a point in Stuttgart. The result meant a consecutive league match unbeaten for FC Koln but still leaves them winless in the Bundesliga since the start of the season.


A Robert Lewandowski hattrick got Bayern the start to a 5-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Jean-Philippe Mateta even the score and gave Mainz a lead before the break, only for his side to lose their advantage in the final 15 minutes of the regulation time. Jonas Hoffman even the score in the 76th-minute from the penalty spot before assisting Matthias Ginter to the winner in the 83rd-minute to hand Monchengladach a road win.

RB Leipzig stay unbeaten and top of the Bundesliga table after coming from a goal down to hand Hertha Berlin their 4th consecutive league defeat.

Union Berlin quickly equalized after going down against Freiburg. It ended 1-1 and a back-to-back league draw for both sides; but Freiburg could have used three points.

After a goalless opening half, Dortmund found three goals in the closing half to win the Revierderby to extend Schalke’s winless run in the league to 21 matches.

It finished a 3-0 defeat to Schalke. They will have to wait and see if their winless run will end when Stutggart pays them a visit in the next round.


Wolfsburg got their first league victory of the season through a 2-1 home victory over newly-promoted Arminia Bielefeld.

Werder Bremen and Hoffenhim shared the point in a 1-1- draw. Hoffenheim avoided a third successive league defeat.

Lucas Alario’s brace allowed Leverkusen three points at home against Augsburg.
