Filip Uremovic gave away two silly penalties through handball violations and picked up yellow cards to leaven Hertha Berlin to chase points with a numerical disadvantage from the 69th minute. Alassane Plea scored from the penalty spot to get Monchengladbach a narrow 1-0 win against Hertha Berlin.
Luckily for Uremovic and Hertha Berlin, only one of the penalties was converted into a goal.

Werder Bremen was down 2-0 in the 89th minute but were up 3-2 at the final whistle after 5 minutes of added time. Werder Bremen’s first win since promotion came in a dramatic tie at Dortmund.
Despite not playing well enough for the lead, Dortmund took a goal lead into the halftime break after Julian Brandt scored in the second minute of the added time. When Raphael Guerreiro doubled the lead for Dortmund in the 77th minute, it looked like the fixture had been decided in Dortmund’s favor.
Lee Buchanan’s 89th minute halved the lead. Niklas Schmidt’s header in the third minute of added time equalized the tie. Oliver Burke scored the winner two minutes later. All the goalscorers for Werder Bremen were second-half substitutes.

Leverkusen loses their third game in three after a 3-0 home defeat to Hoffenheim.

A goal in the third minute of the final added minutes allowed Mainz to leave Augsburg with the three points from a 2-1 win.

It finished as a goalless draw between Wolfsburg and Schalke. Simon Terodde had two opportunities to take the same penalty and missed them both in the same manner to deny Schalke a lead that would’ve likely led to their first win of the season.

Freiburg bounced back from last round’s defeat against Dortmund with a 1-0 win at Stuttgart.

It finished a 2-1 win for Union Berlin against RB Leipzig.
RB Leipzig remain without a win while Union Berlin remained unbeaten by picking up the second victory of their opening three matches.

Frankfurt picked up their first point of the season after letting go of a goal lead to end up in a 1-1 draw at home with FC Koln.

A comfortable 7-0 win at Bochum leaves Bayern Munich as the only team with a 100% winning start to their Bundesliga season.
