Bayern Munich and Dortmund got their victories to move the title race further away from Leverkusen.
Defeat at Mainz has allowed the chasing pack to close in on Leverkusen’s 3rd place. The gap in points has been reduced to 4 points after RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim, and Freiburg picked up victories from their fixtures.

A 6-1 home win against Monchengladbach could be one tool that helps Dortmund make the 5-2 defeat to Leverkusen a distant memory.

Three defeats in a row for Union Berlin after Masaya Okugawa’s 53rd-minute goal got Arminia Bielefeld the points to narrow the gap between the two teams down to 9 points

Eduard Lowen scored a penalty in the final minute of the match to see Bochum get a ‘1-1’ draw to avoid defeat at home to Stuttgart. It wouldn’t have been the right look for Bochum to lose to Stuttgart just after beating Bayern.

Anthony Modeste scored in three straight league appearances for FC Koln.
FC Koln opened a 4 point gap in the league standing on Frankfurt with a 1-0 win.

Bayern Munich wins the second half to hand Greuther Furth a 4-1 defeat.

Marco Reus could’ve had a hattrick of goals to go with the hattrick of assists if he had taken the injury-time penalty that got Emre can on the scoresheet. Reus scored two and assisted three as Dortmund picked up a 6- 0 win over Monchengladbach.

Stevan Jovetic scored in the 48th minute to get Hertha Berlin on even terms but Marc- Oliver Kempf’s silly tackle saw him seeing a red card and rewarding RB Leipzig the opportunity to take the lead through the resulting penalty.
Christopher Nkunku converted the penalty into the winning goal of the match in the 64th minute. Nkunku doubled his scoring just three minutes later. It finished a 6-1 win for RB Leipzig against Hertha Berlin.
