Some good chances were wasted, but Dortmund didn’t fail to secure the maximum points. Julian Brandt scored the only goal of the match in the 67th minute, giving Dortmund their fifth consecutive league win at home against Werder Bremen. Werder Bremen came into this fixture having lost three of their last four games, including 4-1 defeats against both newly-promoted teams, making it a result expected to go Dortmund’s way.

It was an ideal start for RB Leipzig, taking the lead in the first minute of the game. Darmstadt did their best, but RB Leipzig secured the maximum points, thanks to a brace from Lois Openda. RB Leipzig ended Darmstadt’s two-game winning streak to claim their first league win in three games, following two league draws.

Goncalo Paciencia scored in the 15th minute to put Bochum on the scoreboard first, but the game was decided in Freiburg’s favor by the end of the first half. Vincenzo Grifo scored from the penalty spot in the dying minutes of the first half, adding to Ritsu Doan’s 26th-minute equalizing goal for Freiburg, securing a 2-1 win against Bochum. The result left Bochum without a league win this season.

Frankfurt came from an early goal down to enter the halftime break with a 3-1 lead that they held onto to secure three points at Hoffenheim.

Serhou Guirassy added to his goal tally by scoring the opening goal for Stuttgart, leading them to a 3-0 away victory against Union Berlin. The impressive season Union Berlin had last year has them playing Champions League football this season, but they’ve now their last eight games, including six in the league.

Alex Grimaldo’s goal in the 62nd minute restored the lead for Leverkusen, securing a win in Wolfsburg to remain unbeaten and hold onto their position at the top of the league standings.

Bayern Munich were comfortable winners in Mainz, taking the lead in the opening 20 minutes and scoring the only goal of the second half to secure a 3-1 win.

After seven games, which included six losses, FC Koln finally secured their first win of the season, thanks to Florian Kainz’s brace in a 3-1 home victory over Monchengladbach. Nico Elvedo scored to level the game for Monchengladbach in the 63rd minute, only for Koudio Kone to receive a red card 9 minutes later, leaving Monchengladbach with a numerical disadvantage. Thirteen minutes after that, Florian Kainz scored his second goal of the game from a penalty, restoring the lead for FC Koln.

Heidenheim initially took an early lead with two goals scored just a minute apart in the 17th and 18th minutes. However, this lead was not enough to prevent them from a home defeat to Augsburg. Augsburg bounced back and secured their second league victory of the season, with goals coming from five different scorers.
