To Mainz’s credit, they kept a clean sheet in the second half.
Five first-half goals did the job for Wolfsburg to make up for the 6-1 defeat to Dortmund in the last round. Wolfsburg’s last three league games have been a 4-0 win, a 6-1 defeat, and now a 5-0 win.

Bayern Munich did the expected at home to use a 3-1 victory to seal the season.
Dortmund made it a bit tricky in the second half when Emre Can converted from the penalty spot to cut in half Bayern Munich’s lead but Jamal Musiala entered the game in the 63rd minute and scored 20 minutes later to settle the nerves on Bayern Munich’s part of the stands to start their party for the 10th consecutive Bundesliga title.
Serge Gnabry opened the scoring in the 15th minute to get Bayern on the right track. Robert Lewandowski scored his 33rd goal of the season to double Bayern Munich’s lead before the halftime break.

Two goals in the final five minutes of regulation time brought Union Berlin from a goal down to a goal up in Leipzig. Union Berlin got some revenge for their elimination from the German Cup semifinal with a 3-1 win against RB Leipzig.

Despite going up two goals in the first half, a (Lars Stindl) goal in the third minute of the final added minutes was needed for Monchenghaldbach to prevent a defeat at Freiburg with a 3-3 draw.

Despite being the first to get a goal [5th minute], Greuther Furth was on the wrong end of a 4-1 defeat at home against Leverkusen. It was Leverkusen’s first league victory in three matches.

Hertha Berlin use a 2-0 win against Stuttgart to open four points on Stuttgart (and the bottom three)
