The German Bundesliga after 25 rounds: An own goal cost Bayern Munich two points.

GERMAN BUNDESLIGA – Round 25
There were three teams on 40 points trailing Leverkusen for 3rd place.
RB Leipzig, Freiburg, and Hoffenheim. RB Leipzig and Freiburg faced each other and shared the points, while Hoffenheim took advantage of the results around them with a win in Cologne.

Dortmund and Mainz had their fixture postponed.
With 9 matches left to go of the Bundesliga season,
Bayern Munich’s lead rose by a point to 9 but now Dortmund has a game in hand to help cut down the gap.
Hoffenheim used a win against FC Koln in the final game of the round to enter the ‘top four’ and push out RB Leipzig.

Thomas Muller’s own-goal gave Leverkusen the equalizing goal to leave Munich with a point.

As it was in the reverse fixture, Bochum took the three points when the promoted teams met.

A 4-1 victory in Berlin allowed Frankfurt to end a 3-game losing streak.
Hertha Berlin is now on a 4- game losing streak that is on the end of a streak of 8 league games without a win. {9 if DFB Pokal is included}.

Angelino’s 90th minute equalizer allowed Leipzig to remain above Freiburg in the standings through a 1-1 draw.

Taiwo Awoniyi headed a corner kick into his own net to hand Wolfsburg a narrow ‘1-0’ victory at Union Berlin’s expense.

Stuttgart came from two goals down against Monchengladbach to secure their first victory in 10 matches. [6 defeats and 3 draws between].

Stefan Posch scored the only goal of the match to grab the three points for Hoffenheim in Cologne.
