Dortmund dropping points in Augsburg grew Bayern Munich’s lead in the German Bundesliga title race to 8 points.

The gap between Leverkusen and Dortmund narrowed to 6 points.
RB Leipzing, Freiburg, and Hoffenheim got the points to stay 4 points Leverkusen (and third place).

HOFFENHEIM 2-1 STUTTGART: Stuttgart went 9 matches [7 defeats] without a win after Christoph Baumgartner scored two goals in the final 5 minutes of regulation time to get Hoffenheim from trailing at home to a 2-1 win.

LEVERKUSEN 3- 0 ARMINIA BIELEFELD: Defeat at Mainz in the last round allowed the chasing pack to close in on Leverkusen’s 3rd place spot in the standings. Moussa Diaby’s two goals in the second half confirmed the victory Leverkusen needed to quickly get back on the winning path after their narrow 3-2 defeat at Mainz in the previous round.

MONCHENGLADBACH 2- 2 WOLFSBURG: From two goals down to almost winning; Monchengladbach came from behind to get a point from a 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg. Both teams could not afford a defeat.

FREIBURG 3-0 HERTHA BERLIN: Back-to-back wins for Freiburg as Hertha Berlin goes 7 matches without a Bundesliga win [5 defeats 2 draws] after a 3-0 defeat in Freiburg.

UNION BERLIN 3-1 MAINZ: Union Berlin ended a three-game losing streak with a 3-1 win against Mainz.

FRANKFURT 0-1 BAYERN MUNICH: Leroy Sane entered the game in the 67th minute and scored the game’s only goal in the 71st minute to get Bayern Munich a labored victory against a Frankfurt side that has now gone three league games on the losing end of the score.

BOCHUM 0-1 RB LEIPZIG: Christopher Nkunku’s goal in the 82nd minute allowed RB Leipzig to the three points from a 1-0 win at Bochum.

AUGSBURG 1-1 DORTMUND: After getting eliminated from continental football by Rangers on Thursday, Dortmund dropped points in Augsburg to fall further away from Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga title race.
