At the top end of the German Bundesliga standings, a point remains between Bayern Munich and Union Berlin.
RB Leipzig dropped a position after a goalless draw in Cologne, while Dortmund used the opportunity to move up a position to third with a 5-1 win over Freiburg.
Freiburg dropped a position down to 6th. Frankfurt used a 3-0 win against Hertha Berlin to move up a position to 5th.

A point from a goalless draw with Monchengladbach did little to help Schalke.
Schalke remains bottom of the league standings.
Bochum moved out of the bottom three with a 5-2 win against Hoffenheim.
Stuttgart replaces Bochum.

Mergim Berisha’s goal in the 35th minute gave Augsburg a ‘1-0’ win against Leverkusen to bounce back from their last-round defeat at Freiburg. The result also marked a consecutive league defeat for Leverkusen.

Bochum was on the right end of a seven-goal match to equal points with Hoffenheim. (Seven different goal scorers.)
Christopher Antwri Adjei assisted three goals in the first half to set Bochum up for an eventual 5-2 win. 

Dortmund gave up a goal lead at the end of the first half but quickly restored the lead at the start of the second half to go on and win 5-1 against a 10-man Freiburg.
Dortmund has won all matches since the restart of the season after the break for the World Cup.

Kolo Muani’s brace played a role in Frankfurt’s 3-0 against Hertha Berlin.

Jordan Pefok came on in the 79th minute after Union Berlin had lost their lead in the 78th minute and scored the goal to restore the lead in the 84th minute to get Union Berlin a 2-1 against Mainz.

Werder Bremen bounced back from two league defeats with two league victories.
A 2-0 win at Stuttgart was a consecutive match with three points for Werder Bremen.

Stuttgart is without a league win in their last five matches.

Bayern Munich picked up a 4-2 win at Wolfsburg.
Wolfsburg loses two league matches in a row after winning two consecutive league matches with a ‘11-0’ aggregate score, while Bayern Munich ended a 3-game run of 1-1 draws in the league. Considering that Bayern Munich was ‘3-0’ up in the opening 20 minutes, the match ended up being a much tighter competition than it presented.
