::: Auxerre secured their first league win since their opening-day victory over Nice, defeating Brest 3-0 to draw level on points with their opponents.
::: Paris Saint-Germain bounced back from their first points dropped in Ligue 1(1-1 against Reims) with a 3-1 home win over Rennes. Bradley Barcola struck twice, while Kang-In Lee added the game winning goal.

::: Lens remained unbeaten in Ligue 1, and kept their 2-point advantage in the standings on Nice after the two sides played out a goalless draw against each other in Lens.
::: Jonathan David stole the show with a hat-trick in Lille’s dominant 3-0 win over Le Havre. The victory marked Lille’s first league triumph since their opening-day win against Angers, securing three much-needed points.
::: Monaco extended their unbeaten run with a dramatic 2-1 comeback win over Montpellier. After falling behind, Monaco leveled the score and found the decisive goal deep into added time. Lamine Camara, introduced in the 67th minute, struck the winner in the eighth minute of stoppage time, just six minutes after Montpellier were reduced to 10 men following Tanguy Coulibaly’s second yellow card.

::: The late strike proved crucial as Lyon continued their momentum in the league. Both Lyon and Toulouse entered the match with a win in their league campaign. It was Malick Fofana’s goal in the fifth minute of added time that secured a 2-1 victory for Lyon in Toulouse, following a 1-1 draw at halftime.
::: Angers is stuck without a league win by adding a 3-1 home defeat against Reims to their record.
::: Ibrahima Sissoko scored both goals for Saint-Etienne to come from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw in Nantes.
::: Marseille suffered their first league defeat of the season against Strasbourg, who ended a run of three league games without a win. Diego Moreira scored the only goal of the match in the 40th minute, securing three points for Strasbourg at Marseille’s expense. This result denied Marseille the opportunity to keep pace with Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco in the early title race.
