The French Ligue 1 after four rounds: Paris St. Germain stayed at the top but dropped their first points of the season

A three-way tie in points at the top of the league standings after Paris St. German dropped points while Marseille and Lens picked up the maximum points from the round.
They have a game in hand but Lyon and Lorient are part of the four teams on 7 points.
Troyes moved up from the bottom of the table with their first win of the season.
Ajaccio fell to the bottom. Ajaccio is part of the five teams at the bottom of the league table without a win recorded for the new season.

Lille picked up the three points through a comfortable 3-1 win at Ajaccio. The result helped Lille bounce from defeat against Paris St. Germain with a result that kept newly-promoted Ajaccio without their first league win.

Gaetan Perrin’s goal in the 29th minute was enough to get newly-promoted Auxerre their second win of the season at home against Strasbourg.

Seko Fofana and Ikoma Openda scored four minutes apart to put Lens 2-0 up against Rennes with 20 minutes of regulation time left. Lens used a 2-1 win against Rennes to stay unbeaten in the league.

Nantes won their first league game of the season by finding three second-half goals within the space of 10 minutes to come from a goal down in the first half and beat newly promoted Toulouse 3-1.

Montpellier was 5 goals up by the 32nd minute to go on and win their second league game of the season through a 7-0 win at Brest.
Brest was not helped by getting reduced to 10 men in the 50th minute after Pierre Lees-Melou picked up a straight red card.

Term Moffi scored both goals for Lorient to remain unbeaten in the league with a 2-1 win against Clermont Foot.

Marseille got three points at Nice. Alexis Sanchez’s first pair of goals helped Marseille to a 3-0 first-half lead that remained unchanged till the final whistle.

A 3-1 win at home against Angers handed Troyes their first win of the season.

Moussa Dembele’s 86th-minute goal saved Lyon from a defeat at Reims, and also deny Reims their first league win of the season.
Reims had to protect a 24th-minute lead with 10 players from the 63rd minute after a player was sent off on a red card.

Neymar’s goal from the penalty spot in the 70th minute canceled out Kevin Volland’s goal in the 20th minute.PSG dropped their first set of points in the league after coming from a goal down to get a 1-1 draw with Monaco.
