32 more rounds of the season to go and the three-way tie at the top of the standing turned into a two-way tie after Lens dropped points at Reims.
Paris St. Germain remains at the top of the league on equal points with Marseille.
Lyon remains with a game in hand to get even on points with Paris St. Germain and Marseille.
Lille used a win against Montpellier to take 5th place, pushing Montpellier down two positions to 7th.
At the bottom end of the table, Strasbourg and Brest picked up a point each, while Angers and Ajaccio added none to their tally.

Marseille, Lyon, and Paris St. Germain got picked up three points without conceding a goal on the first day of the round.

An early goal in the 7th minute from Gerson, and a goal in the 84th minute from Alexis Sanchez gave Marseille a 2-0 away win against Auxerre.

Karl Toko Fckambi had 2 goals in Lyon’s 5-0 win against Angers. Lyon remains unbeaten with a game in hand.

Kylian Mbappe’s brace laid the foundation for a 3-0 win for Paris St. Germain at Nantes. Paris St. Germain keeps the top spot.

Jonathan David added two goals to his personal tally to help Lille grab a 3-1 win at Montpellier.
Valere Germain picked up a red card at the end of the first half to leave Montpellier with 10 players going against Lille for the entirety of the second half. Lille used a 2-0 win in the second half to get the three points.

Ajaccio stayed without a win after a 1-0 home defeat to Lorient.
Bango Ouattara scored the only goal of the match for Lorient to get a win to extend newly promoted Ajaccio’s search for their first win of the season into the 7th round.

Strasbourg stayed without a win but held on to a 1-1 draw against Brest despite playing the entirety of the second half with 10 men. Strasbourg ended the first half by coming from a goal down to even the score and having a player sent off on a red card.

Clermont Foot ended a consecutive defeat with a 2- 0 win against Toulouse. The result meant Toulouse’s losing streak is stretched to three.

Despite coming from a goal down to avoid defeat, Lens dropped out of the ‘three horse’ title race after dropping two points in a 1-1 draw at Reims.

A 10-man Troyes held on well enough to get a point at home against Rennes.

Nice couldn’t use home advantage to get a successive win after winning their first of the season in the last round. Breel Embolo’s header got Monaco the only goal of the game to get them their first win since the opening round.
