From the qualifiers route, a few more nations got a representative in the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League, while other nations received a boost to their odd of winning the UEFA Champions League title.
Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Scotland, Greece, and Cyprus each got a club to represent them in the tournament.
Liverpool joined Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Manchester United to represent England. Napoli joined Juventus and AS Roma to represent Italy. Sevilla joined Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid to represent Spain. CSKA Moscow joined Spartak Moscow to represent Russia.
