The most successful team (Arsenal) become the first Premier League club to get knocked out of the tournament.
The defending champions (Liverpool) became the second Premier League club to get knocked out of the tournament.
Arsenal and Liverpool were also the only Premier League clubs eliminated in this round; both were eliminated by another Premier League club.

The closest we got to an upset was in the match between Wrexham against Sheffield United.
’Leicester City vs Walsall’ was also much closer than expected.
