Goals from Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva got Manchester City the win over Newcastle United. Manchester City keeps tabs on Arsenal in the title race, while Newcastle United stays out of the Champions League qualifying position.

Conceding a goal in the first minute of the first half, and another in the 7th minute of the second half looked to be doom for Arsenal but they showed traits of a title-winning side by coming from two goals down to eventually pick up a win at home.
Reiss Nelson’s goal in the 7th minute of the final added time completed the comeback for Arsenal to win 3-2 against Bournemouth.
Thomas Partey started the comeback with a goal in the 62nd minute. Ben White scored the equalizing goal for Arsenal in the 70th minute.

At least West Ham insured themselves for a 4-0 defeat against Brighton with the 4-0 win they picked up against Nottingham Forest in the previous round.

Adama Traore scored the only goal of the match to hand Tottenham a defeat to follow an FA Cup defeat against Sheffield United.

Back-to-back win for Aston Villa after three straight league defeats. They followed a 2-0 win against Everton with a 1–0 win (thanks to an own goal) against Crystal Palace.

After 6 attempts since January 15, 2023, Chelsea finally got a win on record. It came from an unlikely source (Wesley Fofana) but Chelsea will be happy to end the day with the maximum points.

James Ward-Prowse’s penalty miss did not cost Southampaion as Carlos Alcaraz scored the only goal of the match 3 minutes later to get Southampton the three points at home against Leicester City. It’s four defeats in a row for Leicester, 3 league games, and an FA Cup 3rd round exit.

Everton gave up a lead on two occasions to leave with a point against Nottingham Forest.

It was humiliation at Anfield for a Manchester United side that had been unbeaten in 11 competitive matches before this fixture. Six second-half goals turned a 1-0 halftime lead into a historic win for Liverpool. Cody Gakpo opened the scoring towards the end of the first half (43rd minute), and tripled the lead 5 minutes into the restart after Darwin Nunez doubled the lead just two minutes into the second half. Gakpo scored two goals, Nunez also scored two, and Mohamed Salah also found the net twice. Roberto Firmino entered the match in the 79th minute and assisted Salah’s second goal before scoring the final goal of the game in the 88th minute. Liverpool’s push for a Champions League football qualifying spot is alive and well after bringing Manchester United back down to earth with a 7-0 trashing.
