::: Being first to get a goal wasn’t enough for West Ham to secure a win. Mohamed Kudus opened the scoring in the 18th minute, putting West Ham in the lead but Dejan Kulusevski equalized with a goal in the 36th minute, sending the game into the break on even terms. It took about seven minutes after the restart for Tottenham to take the lead through a goal from Yves Bissouma, and the lead was quickly doubled within three minutes through Alphonse Areola’s own goal. Heung-Min Son made it a three-goal lead, scoring in the 60th minute, and Kudus picked up a red card in the 86th minute to see West Ham end the match with 10 men ana 4-1 defeat to Tottenham.
::: Fulham took an early lead through Raúl Jiménez, who found the back of the net in the 5th minute. However, Aston Villa responded quickly, with Morgan Rogers equalizing just four minutes later. Fulham had a chance to go ahead again in the 27th minute when Andreas Pereira was awarded a penalty, but Emiliano Martínez made the save. Ollie Watkins put Villa in front in the 59th minute, and Fulham’s task became even more difficult when Joachim Andersen was shown a red card in the 64th minute. An own goal from Issa Diop in the 69th minute secured Aston Villa’s 3-1 win.
::: A two-goal first-half lead for Everton was enough to secure all three points against Ipswich Town. Everton is now unbeaten in their last four league games, winning 50% of them, while Ipswich remains without a league win.
::: Manchester United turned things around with two goals in the opening 20 minutes of the second half, overturning a halftime deficit to claim a 2-1 victory over Brentford at home. The win earned United a crucial three points, moving them just ahead of Brentford in the league standings. It also marked their first win in six competitive matches, four of those coming in the Premier League.
::: Danny Welbeck scored the only goal of the match in the 35th minute, giving Brighton a win away at Newcastle.
::: Southampton squandered a two-goal lead in the second half, extending their winless run as Leicester City staged a comeback to secure a 3-2 away victory. Cameron Archer opened the scoring for Southampton in the 8th minute, and Joe Aribo doubled their advantage 20 minutes later, giving the hosts a 2-0 lead at halftime. Leicester began their fightback in the 64th minute through Facundo Buonanotte, who had also netted the winner in their previous match against Bournemouth. Jamie Vardy leveled the match from the penalty spot in the 74th minute, a moment that saw Southampton reduced to 10 men with Ryan Fraser’s red card. Deep into stoppage time, Jordan Ayew scored the decisive goal in the 98th minute, sealing Leicester’s second consecutive league win.
::: Arsenal were reduced to 10 men early on, as William Saliba was shown a red card in the 20th minute. Bournemouth took advantage of the numerical edge in the second half, with Ryan Christie breaking the deadlock in the 70th minute. Justin Kluivert then doubled the lead from the penalty spot, sealing a 2-0 win for Bournemouth and bringing an end to Arsenal’s unbeaten start to the Premier League season.

::: Manchester City came from behind to secure a 2-1 away win against Wolves, extending the hosts’ winless run in the league. Jorgen Larsen gave Wolves an early lead in the 7th minute, but Josko Gvardiol equalized for City in the 33rd minute. Just when it seemed City might drop points, John Stones headed home the winner deep into stoppage time (90+5’), earning the defending champions a crucial three points.
::: Curtis Jones’ 51st-minute goal proved decisive as Liverpool edged out Chelsea 2-1 at Anfield. Mohamed Salah gave Liverpool the lead with a 29th-minute penalty, but Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson equalized early in the second half. However, Liverpool quickly restored their advantage through Jones, securing their spot at the top of the table and handing Chelsea their first defeat since their season opener against Manchester City.

::: Crystal Palace’s unbeaten streak came to an end as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. Chris Wood scored the game’s only goal in the 65th minute, giving Nottingham Forest their first win since beating Liverpool four matches ago.
