The occupants of the top four positions remained the same, with Tottenham creating a 3 point gap between 4th and 5th.
Arsenal with a win from their game in hand will equal the points accumulated by Tottenham.
Despite being on the losing end of the games, West Ham, Manchester United, and Wolves stayed in their positions.
Leicester City moved up a position to 9th after aw in against Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace falls a position down to 10th.
Norwich remains bottom of the table but hit the 20-point margin with a 2-0 win against Burnley.
Everton used a win against Manchester City to move 4 points out of the relegation zone.

There are 7 rounds left to go in the English Premier League and Manchester City and Liverpool are in a two-horse race for the league title.
Chelsea’s position in 3rd is looking to be under threat, while the chase for Champions League qualification is on for the Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Wolves.

MANCHESTER CITY 2-2 LIVERPOOL: A modern-day classic. Guardiola’s Manchester City vs Klopp’s Liverpool. Different style of play but similar efficiency.
The two most recent winners of the English Premier League title are still separated by a point after a 2-2 draw at the Etihad. Liverpool came from a goal down on two occasions to get a point away and stay a point away from the top.
It was a 2-2 draw at Anfield, and it ended as a 2-2 draw at Etihad. Manchester City remains unbeaten against Liverpool since their 2018-19 season.
Will this be the title decider?


SOUTHAMPTON 0-6 CHELSEA: After losing heavily to Brentford in the last round and following it with a defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinal first leg, Chelsea went to Southampton and released their frustration. Chelsea ended the opening half f the match with a 4-0 lead with goals from Marcos Alonso, Mason Mount, Timo Werner, and Kai Havertz. Mount and Werner scored another in the second half.

 

The North London teams are in a race for Champions League qualification. Arsenal hosted Brighton and suffered a 2-1 defeat, while Tottenham picked up a 4-0 win away against Aston Villa. Heung-Min Son contributed three goals as Tottenham secured the three points to make it a fourth successive league victory while handing Aston Villa a fourth successive defeat. For Arsenal, it’s back-to-back league defeat that has impacted the advantage they had with their game in hand.

Chris Wood had a goal disallowed in the first half but won a penalty and converted it in the second half to give Newcastle a 1-0 victory against Wolves to stop a streak of defeats at 3 games and help their bid for survival in the top flight.
Leeds United go four matches without defeat in the league (3 wins and a draw) after a 3-0 win at Watford.
Everton beat Manchester United to get a valuable three points to aid their survival.
An inspired Brentford side that is coming from a big win against Chelsea continued with another win against West Ham. A 2-0 win against West Ham is Brentford’s fourth win in their last 5 league matches.
A 2-0 win against Burnley was Norwich City’s first league win since beating Watford on January 21, 2021 (9 matches) keeping Burnley in the relegation zone.
Leicester City (with two games in hand) opened a three-point gap on Crystal Palace with a 2-1 win.
