In an empty Camp Nou, FC Barcelona scored three in the second half of the match to beat Las Palmas. Lionel Messi scored the two final goals to remain the top scorer with 11 goals; five more than any other player in the league.

A draw against Leganes meant Atletico Madrid couldn’t keep up the race at the top with Barcelona, while Sevilla and Valencia secured maximum points in their respective matches to jump above Atletico Madrid in the league standings.

Isco scored a goal in each half for Real Madrid to put aside Espanyol and get a victory to help in their climb back to the top end of the league table.
