Lionel Messi 75’(pen) 90’+2’

Lionel Messi scored two goals to finish as the top scorer for the 2016/17 La Liga season (37 goals).

It was looking like one another one of those games when Barcelona was going to fail to hit their necessary target.

It was a victory at the end for FC Barcelona. An ideal way to end their season and say goodbye to their coach Luis Enrique.

But as most of us expected, a victory wasn’t going to be enough to help Barcelona defend their league title.

Málaga         0-2      Real Madrid

                                                     Cristiano Ronaldo 2’
                                                  Karim Benzema 55’

Congratulations to REAL MADRID! The 2016/17 Spanish La Liga Champions!!

Two early goals in each half was how Real Madrid settled all nervousness and danced towards a 33rd league title.

Real Madrid needed to avoid an away defeat to clinch the league title. With Madrid’s current form, this was an easy game to call.
