Real Madrid remains at the top of the league table with a perfect winning start to the season after four rounds.
There is a little blemish on Barcelona’s record from the draw in their opening game but they sit in second place and two points from the top; on equal points with Villarreal.

Sevilla, Elche, Getafe, and Cadiz will continue to chase their first win of the season.
Cadiz is at the bottom of the standings as the only team without a win.

Iago Aspas scored two goals in Celta Vigo’s 3-0 win against Cadiz. Its four defeats in four matches for Cadiz

Two late goals allowed Mallorca and Girona to share the points. An injury-time penalty allowed Samu Saiz to score an equalizing goal for Girona to cancel the lead Antonio
Raillo had given Mallorca in the 87th minute.

Rodrygo’s goal in the 65th minute extended Real Madrid’s perfect winning start at the expense of Real Betis.

They stay with identical records.
Atletico Madrid could not build on their 5th-minute lead to get a win on the road. Umar Sadiq scored a 55th-minute header to get Real Sociedad a 1-1 draw.

The form of the teams made Barcelona’s win at Seville predictable.
Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and Eric Garcia scored the goals to get Barcelona a 3-0 win.

Ruben Garcia scored a 90th-minute goal to restore Osasuna’s lead and hand them a 2-1 win against Rayo Vallecano.

Martin Braithwaite scored the only goal of the game to get Espanyol their first win of the season by handing Athletic Club their first defeat.

Two goals in each half got Villarreal a win to extend their unbeaten run while keeping Elche without a win.

Valencia was three goals up in the opening 16 minutes.
They went on to seal a 5-1 win to keep Getafe without a league win.

Valladolid’s first win of the season came at home against a newly-promoted Almeria side that was in search of a consecutive win after winning their first game of the season in the last round. Shon Weissman scored in the 3rd minute of the final injury time to get Valladolid a 1-0 win.
