Champions League – Semifinals

 

The English Premier League will host the Spanish La Liga for the first leg of the 2022/21 UEFA Champions League semifinals.

Villarreal is writing an underdog story, Manchester City and Real Madrid are working towards a ‘double’, and Liverpool is still on for an unprecedented ‘quadruple’.

Europa League – Semifinals

RB Leipzig vs Rangers

On the 21st of May, Rangers is scheduled to play Hearts in Scottish Cup final, while
RB Leipzig is scheduled to play Freiburg in the German Cup final.
Both clubs will want to add a Europa League final to their schedule for this season.

 

West Ham vs Frankfurt

The Europa League title will be the highlight of their season.
West Ham and Frankfurt got to the semifinal by knocking out Spanish La Liga teams that were considered to be favorites by many fans. West Ham knocked out Sevilla while Frankurt knocked out Barcelona.

 

 

Conference League – Semifinals

Who will become the first-ever UEFA Europa Conference League winner?
Feyenoord, Leicester City, Marseille, or Roma?

Feyenoord vs Marseille

Marseille looks to grab a Champions League qualification through the French Ligue 1.
According to the Dutch Eredivisie standings, Feyenoord is the third-best team in the league.

Leicester City vs Roma

It doesn’t look like Leicester City will finish the Premier League season outside of the mid-table area. (they are currently 10th).
Roma is trying to be competitive in the Italian Serie A but there remain four teams in the league that have consistently played better.

Italian Serie A

Fiorentina vs Udinese
Atalanta vs Torino
Bologna vs Inter Milan

The Serie A teams with a game in hand will catch up with the rest of the league on Wednesday. (Salernitana and Venezia are the exception)

Fiorentina will take 5th place from Roma with a win against Udinese.

A win at home (against Torino) will have Atalanta take 7th place from Lazio.
An injury-time goal was needed for Atalanta to win 2-1 in the reverse fixture.

Inter Milan will reclaim the lead in the Scudetto race if they can leave Bologna with a win. Inter Milan were 6-1 winners in the reverse fixture.

Manchester United vs Chelsea
After losing away against Liverpool and Arsenal, Manchester United will have the backing of home support to try for a win against Chelsea.
Chelsea has two games in hand and an 11-point lead on Manchester United.
