Schalke became the first team to be relegated on a night where Bayern Munich became a win away from their 30th Bundeliga title.

An RB Leipzig defeat in Cologne and a Bayern Munich win over Leverkusen has practically ended the 2020/21 German Bundesliga title race.
Bayern Munich takes a 10 points lead into the final four rounds of the German Bundesliga season. With a maximum of 12 points left in the season for the teams that have no outstanding matches, Bayern are just a win away from defending their Bundesliga title (again).
A victory at Stuttgart allowed Wolfsburg to move 4 points away from second place.

Dortmund remain 4 points away from Champions League qualification. Their win against Union Berlin was matched by Frankfurt’s win against Augsburg.

Schalke were finally relegated after their 21st league defeat of the season.
With 2 wins from 30, it was the only deserved outcome.
