Real Sociedad kept their place at the top by getting the maximum points from Osasuna.
Real Madrid and Sevilla made their game in hand count by coming out of the round with maximum points as well.
Sevilla won the Seville derby to stay a point from the top of the league while having a game in hand.


Barcelona and Atletico Madrid gave up a winning advantage to come out of their matches with just a point.
Barcelona remained in 9th place after coming out of Vigo with just a point.
Atletico Madrid remained in fourth place but drifted further away from the top three after coming out of Valencia with just a point.

Getafe is bottom of the table with equal points as the only team without a win in the league this season; Levante.
Cadiz moved out of the relegation zone through a win against Athletic Club in the opening game of the round.
Elche dropped into the relegation zone to replace Cadiz.

ESPANYOL 2-0 GRANADA
Sergi Darden assisted both goals in the first half to get Espanyol their fourth win of the season.

ALAVES 2-1 LEVANTE
Alaves come from a goal down to keep Levante winless.
Joselu scored the equalizing goal from the penalty spot in the 77th minute before netting the game-winning goal in the first minute of additional time.

CELTA VIGO 3-3 BARCELONA
Iago Aspas was there to help Celta Vigo complete a second-half comeback from 3- goals down.
A Barcelona side that had not won a game in their last three league matches was three goals up in the opening 34 minutes of their match against Celta Vigo.
They came back from the halftime break and blew away the lead to leave with a point.
For Celta Vigo, Aspas’s goal in the final minute of the additional minutes will make this point feel like a win.

REAL MADRID 2-1 RAYO VALLECANO
Radamel Falcao was subbed into the match in the 69th minute, halved Real Madrid’s lead, then subbed of in the 81st minute after picking up an injury.
A back-to-back ‘2-1’ wins for Real Madrid.

VILLARREAL 1-0 GETAFE
The early goal and performance were enough to get Villarreal their first victory in five games while handing Getafe a defeat in their first match after their first win of the season.

VALENCIA 3-3 ATLÉTICO MADRID
Hugo Duro entered the game in the 85th minute and went on to score two goals in the added time to get Valencia a 3-3 draw.

REAL BETIS 0-2 SEVILLA
Sevilla comes out on top in the Seville Derby.
Sevilla beat a 10-man Real Betis to win the Seville derby to take the bragging rights and open a six-point gap on their local rival.
