ATLETICO MADRID, REAL BETIS, and REAL SOCIEDAD are in the contest for fourth place. Real Sociedad and Real Betis played out a goalless draw.
Atletico Madrid got an injury-time winner to get the maximum points against Espanyol

Levante and Alaves occupy the bottom two with 22 points each. They were both on the winning end of the score in this round. Levante went to Granada a pickup up a win, whil Alaves beat Rayo Vallecano.

A goalless draw allowed Real Betis to leave with a point to keep a 2- point lead on Real Sociedad.

Elche moved six points from Mallorca after ending a three-game losing streak with a ‘3-0’ win against a Mallorca side coming from a win against Atletico Madrid.

A 2- goal lead in the opening 20 minutes allowed Villarreal to secure a ‘2-1’ victory and the three points against Getafe.

After narrowly missing out on points against Barcelona, Levante picked up three points in Granada through a 4-1 win.

Celta Vigo won their first in five matches after a 2-0 win in Bilbao.

REAL MADRID DID THEMSELVES AND BARCELONA A FAVOR BY BEATING SEVILLA.
Real Madrid showed us once again why they are meant to be the champions by coming from two goals down to leave Seville with the maximum points.
Sevilla should’ve been reduced to 10 men following Eduardo Camavinga’s tackle on Anthony Martial should’ve been a booking that sent him off.
Sevilla’s lead should’ve been whipped earlier through Vinicius Junior’s goal that was in all accounts of the law called wrongly for a handball by the referee.
But in the end, Karim Benzema scored the deciding goal in the second minute after regulation time to complete the comeback for a 3-2 win for Real Madrid against Sevilla.

Relegation-zoned Cadiz beat Barcelona at Camp Nou after Eintracht Frankfurt did the same (four days ago) in the Europa League.
Since their promotion to the top flight in the 2020/21 season, Cadiz has remained unbeaten against Barcelona. A 2-1 win, a 1-1 draw, a goalless draw, and their latest is a 1-0 win.
