Domestic Leagues

Real Madrid and Juventus move toward the league titles, while the race for Champions League football continues in the Premier League.

Italian Serie A

Juventus are 8 points clear after finding two penalties to avoid defeat against Atalanta.
Atalanta did enough to pick up three points and join the title race, but two soft penalties denied the team a win in Turin.
Lazio loses to Sampdoria, allowing Inter Milan to move to second place in the league through a victory against Torino in the final match of the round.

With a 13-point gap between 4th-place Atalanta and 5th-place Roma, it’s an intelligent assumption to make that Atalanta will join Juventus, Inter Milan, and Lazio as the occupants of the top four/champions league qualifiers at the end of the season.

With the games left and the rate of goals, Cristiano Ronaldo is within the range to be European Golden Boot winner.
