Frankfurt were the only side in the ‘top 4’ to lose their game.
Dortmund moved closer to the top four.
Leverkusen slips to 6h after defeat in the final match of the round.

Monchengladbach are in the middle of the ranking.

Bottom 5 teams in the standings were all on the losing ends of the score.
This is bad news for Schalke.

Andre Silva added another goal to his tally after opening the scoring to give Frankfurt the lead in the 9th-minute. However, Werder Bremen found two goals in the second half to complete a comeback. Werder Bremen bounced back from their 4-0 defeat at Hoffenheim with a 2-1 win against a Frankfurt side that came into the game from a win against Bayern Munich. (yes, it’s like that).

A 5-1 victory against FC Koln was Bayern Munich’s response to their defeat at Frankfurt in the last round. Robert Lewandowksi added 2 goals to his tally to take his goals in the season to 28 goals.

Jadon Sancho assisted the opening goal and scored the insurance goal for Dortmund to end up with three second half goals against Arminia Bielefeld. It’s back to back ‘3-0’ defeat for Arminia Bielefeld. They’ve been involved in 3-goal matches in their last 6 league games; losing 4 of them.

Schalke bad form made Stuttgart look really good. Schalke left Stuttgart empty handed and a -4 in goals. They needed the maximum points to help their cause to avoid relegation. A 5-1 defeat to Stuttgart was the furthest they could have gotten to their objective.

2-0 win against Hertha Berlin marked 10 straight games without defeat for Wolfsburg. The ten games includes 9 league matches composing of 6 wins and 3 draws.

Alexander Sorloth came into the match at the midway point with his team 2 goal down at home to Monchengladbach. He assisted the goal to cut the deficit in half ( an assist to Christopher Nkunku), and scored the winning goal in the final minute of additional time (an assist from Christopher Nkunku). At the break, it looked like RB Leipzig were on their way to drop points at home and allow Bayern Munich to re-extend their lead in the title race. Monchengladbach have no wins from their last 5 competitive matches; including 4 league matches. A ‘0-0’ draw at Wolfsburg has been their best result in this poor form.

Andre Hahn’s goal decided the game for Augsburg at Mainz.

Three games without a league win for Leverkusen after a 2-1 defeat at home to Freiburg. On the balance of play, Leverkusen deserved more than what they got from the game. .
