Pisa recovered from their first-leg defeat in the opening 10 minutes of the second leg by going 2-0 up.
Monza fought back to get a 2-2 draw by the 80th minute, only for Guiseppe Mastinu to score in the 90th minute for Pisa to force an extra time.
Monza added 2 goals in extra time before going down a man in the 104th minute. Monza wins 4-3 on the day to advance to Serie A with a 6-4 aggregate win over Pisa.
