A ‘1-1’ draw in each half keeps Hull City in the relegations zone and opened up the possibility to finish 2016 as the team at the bottom of the Premier League Table.

 

Everton had to come from behind on two occasions to leave Hull with an important point. Everton’s next fixture is an away match against Southampton. A round 19 victory for Southampton will see the two teams face each other even on points

The value of the points in this fixture was increased by the fact that both sides had a tough fixture ahead of them. Burley has Manchester City in their next fixture, while Sunderland will be going against Liverpool.  

 

Andre Gray scored a hattrick to give Burnley a home victory to end the 2016 calendar year while giving Sunderland a consecutive league defeat.

As expected, Chelsea finishes the year on top of the Premier League table.

Stoke City came back from a goal down on two occasions, but it Chelsea had too much in the tank to be denied their eleventh consecutive league victory.

The defending champions ended 2016 with a home victory over West Ham United.

There remain a lot of work for Leicester City to do to salvage enough points for a respectable finish at the end of the season.

The defeat to West Ham was the first after going four matches without a loss.

Fergie time on Fergie’s birthday!  

It was five consecutive league victories for Manchester United and a consecutive defeat for Middlesbrough

In under two minutes, Manchester United moved from a losing position to a winning one.  It was a deserved victory that almost slipped out of their hands.

Manchester United have gone twelve matches without a defeat in all competitions.

West Bromwich Albion came from a goal down to win away at Southampton. The victory allowed West Brom to leap over Southampton on the league table by a point.  

 

A consecutive defeat for Southampton and Everton is next in line for them.

Sacking their manager did not change results for Swansea City as they feel at home to AFC Bournemouth.

A ‘3-0’ defeat locks Swansea City at the bottom of the table till 2017.

Tottenham gets the first victory in 2017 and Harry Kane scored the first goal in 2017.

A brace from both Harry Kane and Dele Alli saw Tottenham through the nineteenth round of the Premier League with a victory

A first-half wonder goal by Olivier Giroud and a second half goal by Alex Iwobi gave Arsenal a winning start to the new year.

The victory for Arsenal alongside Tottenham Hotspur’s victory pushed Manchester City out of the top four.
