Strasbourg, Reims, and Dijon are still the occupants of the bottom three places in the standings. Reims was the only team there to pick up a point in this round.

Neymar scored a brace and Kylian Mabppe scored the final goal of the match. Paris St. Germain made it 4 wins on the bounce after losing their opening two fixtures of their title defense season.

Saint-Etienne left Lens with a 2-0 defeat and 2 players sent off on red card.A consecutive defeat for a team that was just at the top of the league table. Newly promoted Lens have gone through their opening 5 matches without a defeat. (4 wins and a draw).

A 10-man Nantes side were beaten at Nice. Nants had to virtually play the entire game with a numerical disadvantage after Andrei Girotto got sent off in the 3rd minute. The result allowed Nice to get back to winning ways after going three matches without, while stretching Nantes winless run to 4 games. (3 defeats and a draw).

Renaud Ripart scored in the 84th-minute to win the game for Nimes at Montpellier. The result marked the first victory for Nimes since their opening day win at home against Brest, while being the first defeat for Montpellier since their opening day away defeat at Rennes.

Dijon stayed winless in the league (5 losses and a draw) after a defeat at Bordeaux. The results get Bordeaux their first win in 4 matches.

An early goal allowed Brest to take all three points at home against Monaco.

Ibrahim Biane scored a hattrick for Mainz to come from a goal down and secure a 3-1 victory at home against Lorient.

Lille stayed unbeaten after a 3-0 win at Strasbourg.

Rennes stayed unbeaten but their winning run came to an end against Reims in a ‘2-2’ draw.
