Paris St. Germain continue to run with the league title after beating Lyon. – The French Ligue 1 after the 24th round.

 

Ligue 1

Paris St. Germain’s lead at the top remains in tact; a 12-point lead on second-place Marseille at the end of the 24th round.
Rennes is the only side in the top four that failed to seal three points over the round. Rennes played out a goalless draw at home with Brest.

With Lyon, Reims, and Nice all being on the losing side, Strasbourg moved into top 6 after picking up a win against Saint-Etienne.

Monaco jumps to 7th from 10th.
Bordeaux enters the top half from 12th to 8th after picking up three points on the road from Metz.

Nothing changed in position when it comes to the bottom six.
Toulouse, Amiens, Nimes, Dijon, Metz, and Saint-Etienne hold on to their position.
Nimes were however winners over this round, while Dijon managed to pick up a point.

Wissam Ben Yedder remains the top scorer in the league with 16 goals.

Three straight league wins for Lille after taking a ‘2-0’ win from Angers.
It was also the third straight league defeat for Angers.

Dimitri Payet’s goals allowed Marseille to pick up a ‘1-0′ win against a relegation bound Toulouse.

Two goals late goals saw Monaco come from a goal down to beat Amiens. Before Islam Slimani scored he winner in the additional minutes (90+3’), Wissam Ben Yedder scored his 16th goal of the season in the 85th minute to get Monaco level. Ameins hasn’t won a league match in 12 straight matches. (8 defeats and 4 draws).

Dijon and Nantes evenly shared the goals and points in a 6-goal thriller. Stephy Mavididi thought his 90th-minute goal was going to hand his side the win until Andrei Girotto scored in less than 2 minutes to get Nantes back on level terms.

Bordeaux recovered in the second half against a 10-man Metz to win 2-1 on the road. First defeat for Metz in 7 league matches.

Nimes made it three straight wins after beating a ‘3-1’ win at Nice.

Rennes is held to a goalless draw at home by Brest.

Andy Delort scored the only goal of the match for Montpellier to hand Saint-Etienne a defeat.
This meant Saint-Etienne is on a three-match losing streak in the league, while Montpellier picked up their first win since their elimination from the Coupe de France.

A consecutive victory for Strasbourg after finding three goals in the second-half to dop Reims.

It finished 4-2, as PSG closes in on the title once again.
Paris St. Germain won the match against Lyon in the first half with goals from Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe.
