Bayern came from a goal down to take a point in Madrid; courtesy of a penalty from Thomas Muller.
Muller’s goal denied Atletico Madrid the security needed ahead of the final round.
Atletico Madrid will now need a point in the final game to go through to the Round of 16.
Atletico Madrid and RB Salzburg have one more round to clinch a spot in the Round of 16 from Group A.
The best Lokomotiv Moscow can do in Group A is to secure a spot in the Europa League.

Group B
The favorite teams are in the bottom half of the group standings with one game left to play.
It was a must-win for Inter Milan and Romelu Lukaku’s double kept Inter alive in Group B.
All that could happen to make Group B wide open on the final day happened on MatchDay 5.
Shakhtar Donetsk did the improbable by doing a double on Real Madrid.
Inter Milan won their first game in the group and handed Monchengladbach their first defeat in the group.
The results keep all the teams alive and in position to qualify for the knockout stage if results go their way on the final day.
Only Monchengladbach are safe from elimination from continental competition. The worst that can happen for Monchengladbach will be to fall in the Round of 32 of the Europa League. Considering that they have been top of the group for a few rounds and are this close to winning Group B, falling in the Europa League will not be a great feeling for Monchengladbach.

Inter Milan vs Shakhtar Donetsk
Inter Milan will be playing host against Shakhtar Donetsk. It was a goalless draw that when the two teams met in Ukraine. A repeat result will not be enough for Inter Milan; only a win will do.
As long as Real Madrid are beaten on the final day of the season, Shaktar will be fine with a draw.

Monchengladbach will need a point to make it through.
Should Inter Milan use home advantage to get a win against Shakhtar, then Monchengladbach can’t afford a defeat against Real Madrid.

Porto booked qualification to the next round after holding Manchester City to a goalless draw.
Manchester City are group winners in Group C.
Marseille ended a run of 13 straight Champions League defeat with a win that also kept them alive in Group C.
Marseille’s win against Olympiacos meant both teams will be looking for result in the final group game to get a spot in the Europa League Round of 32.

Cristian Romero’s 79th-minute header saved Atalanta as Midtjylland’s hopes of a first Champions League win were dashed.

At 34, Olivier Giroud netted 4 times in Seville.
Olivier Giroud scored three second half goals to add to his early match opening goal for Chelsea to leave Seville with three points and as Group E winners.
Krasnodar clinched a spot in the Europa League Round of 32.
Krasnodar secured their first ever Champions League victory by knocking Rennes out of the their first ever Champions League participation. Rennes has one more round to try and leave with a win.

Group F
Dortmund became the first team to advance from Group F.
Raphaël Guerreiro provided the goal for Dortmund to book a place in the final 16 without Haaland on the pitch. A penalty awarded to Lazio allowed Ciro Imobile to get an equalizing goal from the spot and deny Dortmund a win. As long as they don’t suffer a defeat in their final group match, Lazaio will be joining Dortmund in the Round of 16.
Club Brugge eliminated Zenit
Zenit are eliminated after losing 3-0 away against Club Brugge.
It’s an important victory for Club Brugge as it allowed them to secure a place in the Round of 16 with one more win.
A win against Lazio in Round 6 will hand them a place in the Round of 16.

Group G
The dominant teams in Group G enjoyed a 3-0 win each.
Even without Lionel Messi, Barcelona kept their 100% winning start in Group G without Lionel Messi. They grabbed three goals away against Dynamo Kyiv.
Juventus had Cristiano Ronaldo but could have also done the same and Federico Chiesa and Alvaro Morata played instrumental roles in their win at home against Dynamo Kyiv.
Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros will face each other in the final round to fight for a place in the Round of 32 of the Europa League. Both teams are without a win.

Group H
Paris St. Germain got the needed win at Old Trafford to move level on points with Manchester United and RB Leipzig.
A point in the final game should be good enough for Manchester United to advance from Group H. They will need a point against a RB Leipzig team that is getting more confidence from recent results.
Paris St. Germain will face a team that has nothing to fight for but pride. Istanbul Basaksehir will have nothing to lose when they visit Paris on the final day of the group. Having nothing on the line could be the peace of mind they will use to generate a performance that could shock the football world. Paris St. Germain will need a point to advance.
Alexander Sorloth added time winner save Leipzig and eliminated Istanbul Basaksehir from contention in continental competition but it did not cover the brilliant night that Irdan Kahveci had. Kahveci scored three goals from outside of the box to get Istanbul Basaksehir on the brink of picking up a point at home after trailing throughout the match.
Istanbul needed Manchester United to do them a favor by winning, and that didn’t happen.
Istanbul was eliminated despite putting up a fight to save their season.
RB Leipzig’s goal difference is the reason they can’t get comfortable with a point in the final round (as things stand).
