UEFA Europa League
Half of the stage is probably set for the 2021 Europa League final.
Europa League Semi-Finals
Manchester United 6-2 Roma
Manchester United – Bruno Fernandes 9’ 71’ Edinson Cavani 48’ 64’ Paul Pogba 75’ Mason Greenwood 86’
Roma – Lorenzo Pellegrini 15’ Edin Dzeko 34’
Manchester United in all probabilities placed themselves in the Europa League final by coming from behind to thrash Roma by 6 goals to 2.
There is nothing from Roma’s play in the first half (and in recent) weeks that will suggest that the second-leg in Rome will be any different.

Villarreal 2-1 Arsenal
Villarreal – Manuel Trigueros 5’ Raul Albiol 29’
Arsenal – Nicholas Pepe 73’(pen)
This is Unai Emery’s competition and he has kicked off the opening round with his Villarreal team taking a 2-1 win against Arsenal.
A penalty gave Arsenal the goal and a lifeline for the second leg.
Unlike the other game, this one leaves lots of room for the possibility for either side to make it to the final.
