Paris Saint-Germain has now lost the same amount of matches they did the entire 2015/16 Ligue 1 season.
Two points separated the two teams at the start of the match, but a point separated Paris Saint-Germain and league leaders Nice. A win for PSG would have them top the table until Nice and Monaco play their respective matches over the weekend.
A win for Toulouse sends them above Paris Saint-Germain. Toulouse sits in second position on the table, equaling the points of Nice.
Nice, Monaco and Bordeaux can change the position of the top three with a win.

Lorient put the brakes on Lyon’s title bid with a 1-0 home win. It was the second win of the season for Lorient and it moved them from the bottom of the table for the mean time.

Bordeaux couldn’t find their way around Caen and finished the match in goalless draw.

A late penalty in the first half allowed Metz and away win at Montpellier. It is a win that keeps the newly promoted side in the mix of teams that are looking to be in the Ligue 1 for another season.
Bastia 1-0 Guingamp
Enzo Crivelli 77’
Enzo Crivelli scored the winner for Bastia in the 77th minute against a 10-man Guingamp side, before getting sent off in two minutes later for a second yellow card.
Dijon 3-0 Rennes

It was a home win for Dijon when Rennes came to visit. It was the second win for the newly promoted side. Two first half goals and a goal in the sealed the deal for Dijon.

After losing their season opener against Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne has managed to avoid defeat in the 2016/17 Ligue 1 season.
Lille sits at the bottom of the French Ligue 1 table after an away defeat to Saint-Etienne. Four goals were scored in the second half, and the home team did the most of the scoring to get all three points.
Lille played the entire second half with 10 men. Franck Beria was sent off in the 43rd minute after receiving two yellow cards.
Nancy 0-1 Nice

Monaco, Toulouse and Paris Saint-Germain were hoping that newly promoted Nancy would perform a miracle and deny Nice of maximum points in this match. Their prayers went unanswered.
Nice got the win they needed to climb back to pole position on the league table. Alassane Plea’s goal in the 60th minute was the only goal of the match.
Marseille 2-1 Nantes
