When Sergio Ramos scores late, it is to save Real Madrid. This wasn’t the story this time around.

After 16 undefeated rounds in the 2016/17 La Liga, Real Madrid was handed their first defeat at Sevilla.

The goals came late for Sevilla, but the team deserved it.  Real Madrid had gone through a record 40 match unbeaten streak in Spain.

Real Madrid remains on top of the La Liga table despite the defeat, but Sevilla’s victory has temporarily cut the gap to a point.
