It was a really bad day for Celta Vigo as they were thrashed by Villarreal and left with a player suspended.

Roberto Soriano scored a brace to kick start what would be a wonderful day for Villarreal.

With the home team up ‘3-0’ at the break, there was very little doubt that Villarreal was going to leave the match without picking up a fourth victory in their season.

Took them eight matches, but Osasuna has recorded a win in the 2016/17 La Liga season.

 

Roberto Torres scored the winner in the second half for Osasuna to get their first victory of the season away at Eibar.

Four goals in the first half saw both teams take the lead and lose it. Eibar started off with a goal in just under a minute from kickoff. About half an hour later, Osasuna was enjoying a goal lead after scoring two goals within the space of  three minutes. Eibar evened the score just before the break.
