Once again Barcelona failed to get the points when it counted the most.

With Real Madrid dropping points in the Madrid Derby, this was the moment for Barcelona to get themselves in the driving seat and defend the league title.

Barcelona went down a goal in the first half,  lost Neymar to the accumulation of yellow cards in the second, before conceding a late goal to kill any hope of a point.

It is Real Madrid’s title to lose now.
