Juventus gets back on top of the league after Round 19 of the 2019/20 Italian Serie A

The league title has taken a turn back to Turin at the end of the 19th round of the 2019/20 season.

Juventus replaces Inter Milan at the top of the league table.
Atalanta replaces Roma in the top four.
Lazio still has a match in hand to close in on the top two. As it stands, there is a four point gap between Lazio and 6 between them and Juventus.
AC Milan moves up to midtable, while Hellas Verorna joined the top half.
Napoli falls into the bottom half of the standings.

The relegation zone remains occupied by SPAL, Genoa, and Brescia; however Genoa moved aboved Bresica on goal difference.
The bottom four teams were all on the losing side.

Lazio and Hellas Verona are the two teams with outstanding matches to play.

In the end, Inter Milan was lucky to come out with a point. Luis Muriel’s 88th-minute penalty was saved by Samir Handanovic to keep Inter from a defeat in front of home supporters.
It looked like Inter Milan was off to another win when Lautaro Martinez scored just after 4 minutes to give the home side a lead against Atalanta. Inter Milan failed to add to their lead and eventually Atalanta got a deserved equalizing goal in the 75th-minute through Robin Gosens.

Udinseae ‘3-0’ Sassuolo was the third straight league defeat for Sassuolo, and the third straight league victory for Udinese.

Fiorentina ended a 8-match winless run in the league through a ‘1-0’ victory over SPAL.
Not a shock since SPAL has only managed a league win in their last 12 fixtures.

Fabio Quagliarella scored a brace as Sampdoria come from behind to thrash Brescia by 5 goals to one.

Torino held on to an early lead to beat Bologna.

After going into the break a goal down, Hellas Verona found two goals in the second half make is a consecutive league victory by beating Genoa.

Juvnentus came into the match knowing what was needed to take top spot.
Two goals for Juventus in the opening 10 minutes of the match ended up being enough for the team to get a result to climb to the top of the Serie A standings.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty goal in the 10th-minute ended up being the goal that gave Juventus the three points to take a 2-point lead into the 20th round of the season.

A ‘2-0’ second-half score allowed Parma to seal all three points from Lecce in the final match of the round.
