Atalanta, Napoli, AC Milan, and Juventus remain unbeaten in the league.

Raspaadori’s first goal for Napoli got them the top spot in the league.

Giacomo Raspadori’s 89th-minute goal saved Napoli from dropping points at home to Spezia.
Napoli hosted Spezia and extended their unbeaten run in the league with another win (1-0).
With their last league game being a 2-1 win in Roma against Lazio, and their most recent win being a 4-1 win against Liverpool in the Champions League, we probably expected Napoli to win by a bigger margin against a Spezia team that hasn’t won a game since their opening round win against Empoli.

Marcelo Brozovic’s 89th-minute goal saved Inter Milan from dropping points at home to Torino. Inter Milan used a 1-0 win to recover their Milan derby defeat.
A 3-2 in the Milan derby defeat and a 2-0 home defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League had Inter Milan starring at the possibility of going three matches at the San Siro without picking up the maximum points. The victory against Torino prevented that from happening.

A numerically disadvantaged AC Milan found the goal to restore their lead and claim the three points against Sampdoria.
Before Oliver Giroud converted a penalty into a goal in the 67th minute to get AC Milan the three points, Junior Messias gave AC Milan a lead in the 6th minute that lasted till Filip Djuricic scored in the 57th minute to get Sampdoria level. Djuricic’s goal came about 10 minutes after Rafael Leao accumulated enough yellow cards to get sent out of the game.

Atalanta was the only team that could guarantee they remain the team with the most points even without a win. They ended up with a draw. Emanuele Valeri scored in the 78th minute for Cremonese to quickly get even on the scoreboard after Merits Demiral had given Atalanta a lead in the 74th minute.

Udinese followed their 4-0 win against Roma with a 3-1 win away against Sassuolo.
A 10-man Sassuolo side lost the game to Udinese after conceding twice in the final added minutes. Sassuolo ended the first half with a lead and a man down.
Ruan Tressoldi picked up a red card in the 44th.

For their first win of the season, Bologna recovered within 10 minutes after going a goal down and secured the maximum points through a 2-1 win against Fiorentina.

Joan Gonzalez’s 48th minute got Lecce a point to avoid a home defeat against Monza. Both clubs are in search of their first win of the season.

Goals from Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto got Lazio a 2-0 win against Hellas Verona.

Juventus dropped two points in consecutive matches after an eventful 2-2 draw at home against Salernitana.
Salernitana took a 2-0 lead into the break and were minutes away from a famous win in Turin.
A penalty in the final minutes allowed Leonardo Bonucci to get the game-equalizing goal in the third minute of the final added time.
Juventus thought they had completed the comeback when Arkadiusz Milik scored in the fifth minute of the added time. It was ruled out by VAR for Bonucci being in an offside position and attempting to play.
The arguments that followed saw three red cards shown Federico Fazio for Salernitana. Juan Cuadrado and manager Massimiliano Allegri for Juventus.
Arkadiusz Milik also picked up a second yellow for the celebration of this goal that was eventually ruled out.

Goals from Paulo Dybala and Tammy Abraham brought Roma back to winning ways through a 2-1 win against Empoli in the final match of the round.
