- Roma have not had a derby win in the Serie A in four straight matches. Luis Alberto added two goals to Ciro Immobile’s opener for Lazio to win the Rome derby and reduce the point gap between themselves and Roma to a 3 points. It was Roma’s first defeat since their 4-1 away loss to Atalanta. All of Roma’s defeat in the league have been 3+ goals. For Lazio, this is three wins in a row since their late defeat against AC Milan.
- Riccardo Orsolini scored from a penalty to give Bologna a 1-0 lead that lasted till the final whistle against Hellas Verona. Bologna narrowed the gap between the two teams down to 7 points.
