It was a comfortable home victory for Torina against Cagliari.  There was very little doubt about the outcome of this fixture by the end of the first half.

Lazio had a point lead on the league table to protect, and that is what they did when Balde Diao Keita scored for Lazio soon after Marek Hamsik gave Napoli hope of climbing above Lazio in the league table.

Because of what was at stake for the two teams, we got what we expected – a tight affair.

With a 3-0 lead at the half, many fans knew that newly promoted Pescara was not going to surprise us with a comeback.

Juventus hold on to the top spot with another win.

It was a tighter match than expected but as in most cases, Juventus found a way to win. Three goals were scored in the second half of this match. Juventus scored the majority and left with an away win over Chievo Verona.

Genoa couldn’t find a winning goal at home against Udinese. Two first-half goals decided the match as a draw.

Atalanta got a fourth consecutive league victory by scoring three goals in the first half to get an away win over Sassuolo.

The home team won the first half, and the away team won the second. Fiorentina and Sampdoria played out a 1-1 draw.

Better late than never.

Stefano Vecchi won his first Seriea match as Inter Milan’s interim manager.  

The goals came late for Inter Milan to get a home win over newly promoted Crotone.

Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick to help Roma keep pace with Juventus at the top of the league table.

It was the second consecutive league defeat and the seventh consecutive match without  a victory for Bologna.
