It was deserving victory for Lazio in the Derby della Capitale.

Two victories a piece got both Roman teams in the four Derby della Capitale played within the 2016/17 Serie A season.

Roma could get the points to take advantage of Juventus slip against Atalanta

A questionable penalty call allowed Roma to finish the first half on even terms, but Lazio scored all the goals in the second half to reinstall their lead and beat their local rival.
