AC Milan made it five league matches without a defeat after two second-half goals restored their lead over Chievo Verona.

Arguably against the run of play, two late goals gave Genoa an away victory over Empoli.  The result allowed Genoa to open up a 7-point gap between the two sides, leaving Empoli sitting right above the relegation zone.

A victory that shows the change in Inter Milan’s form.

Inter Milan bounced back from their ‘3-1’ defeat to Roma by thrashing recently-promoted Cagliari.

It was Inter Milan’s revenge for their loss earlier in the season after a late own goal denied them any point in front of their home fans.

Torino avoided a humiliating home defeat to relegation zoned Palermo when Andrea Belotti scored a hat-trick in 8 minutes to bring Torino from a goal behind to winning by two goals.

Crotone ended five consecutive league defeats with a goalless draw against Sassuolo.
