UEFA World Cup qualifiers
UEFA Group D
Wales v Ireland
Serbia – Georgia
Serbia pulls away with an expected victory over an eliminated Georgia team and clinches a place in the 2018 FIFA World Cup from Group D. The playoff position is open for Wales and Ireland and both teams will have a chance control their destiny when they face off for the final match of Group D qualifiers.
UEFA Group I
Ukraine vs Croatia
Iceland vs Kosovo
There is life for Iceland, Croatia, and Ukraine in the final group match in Group I. Playing at home gives Iceland a tremendous advantage over a Kosovo team that is yet to win a match after 9 rounds played. Victory will send Iceland to the World Cup, while a draw will work if the match between Ukraine and Croatia ends in a draw.
Ukraine will be welcoming Croatia for the final Group I match that has world cup qualification and/or a qualification to the UEFA World Cup qualifiers playoffs. The winner between the two could seal direct qualification if the improbable is to happen that Iceland fails to get a victory against Kosovo.
CONCACAF qualifiers
United States, Panama, and Honduras are in need of a victory to get a qualification to the FIFA World Cup. Luckily for the United States, they play against an eliminated Trinidad and Tobago team and a point could be enough. Panama and Honduras, on the other hand, have to defeat teams that have clinched qualification. Panama must beat Costa Rica and Honduras must defeat an undefeated Mexican team in the group.
