A deserved win for a dominant Brighton side that went a goal down but recovered and pick up 3 points through a 2-1 away victory over Chelsea. Julio Encisco scored the winning goal with a wonder strike in the 69th minute. Chelsea is now without a win from their last 6 competitive matches (5 league games), with 4 defeats (3 in the league). Chelsea followed a 1-0 defeat at Wolves with a 2-1 defeat to Brighton. Frank Lampard picked up where he left off.
Brighton bounced back from an undeserved 2-1 defeat against Tottenham with a 2-1 win against Chelsea.

A comfortable start for Arsenal ended with them dropping two points against West Ham. Arsenal was 2-goals up inside the opening 10 minutes but just like it ended in the previous round (vs Liverpool), the game ended as a 2-2 draw. The difference here is that it was against a West Ham side in a relegation avoidance battle.
Massive three points for West Ham.

Manchester United did the expected and picked up a win against relegation-zoned Nottingham Forest.

It was a good night for Liverpool as they picked up three points from a 6-1 win at Leeds. Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota scored two goals each. Salah’s first goal was the game-winner. Jota’s first goal calmed down the nerves of Liverpool after Luis Sinisterra scored in the opening minute of the second half for Leeds United to half Liverpool’s lead.
