How things stands after the third round of EFL Cup final : Manchester United miss out on the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

EFL CUP ROUND THREE

Manchester City came from a goal down to do the expected and pick up a 6-1 victory against Wycombe.

Liverpool saw off Norwich City with Takumi Minamino scoring a brace in a 3-0 win.
Everton was eliminated on penalties after a 2- 2 draw against Queen Park Rangers.
Southampton got through Sheffield United on penalties after a 2-2 draw.
Leeds United won 6-5 on penalties after a goalless draw with Fulham.
Watford was eliminated at home by Stoke.

Brentford thrashed Oldham by 7 goals to nil, while Jay Rodriguez scored four goals for Burnley to come from a goal down in the second half to beat Rochdale.

Aaron Connolly’s two goals advanced Brighton over Swansea.
Arsenal used a 3- 0 victory to eliminate Wimbledon. Chelsea and Tottenham had to go through on penalties against Aston Villa and Wolves respectively. Manchester United was eliminated at home by West Ham.
