GROUP A
Club Brugge did their supporters proud by putting up a respectable contest against a Paris St. Germain side that
was expected to seal a convincing victory with the attacking outfits they had.
It was a great point for Club Brugge, and the awakening PSG needed to kill complacency.

It was a goal-fest in the other fixture.
Manchester City and RB Leipzig were involved in a 9- goal game that ended with Manchester City getting goals from six players, while RB Leipzig got three goals from one player; Christopher Nkunku.

Manchester City - 3 points
Paris Saint-Germain - 1 point
Club Brugge - 1 point
RB Leipzig - 0 points

GROUP B
AC Milan made things interesting when they scored two goals at the end of the first half to come from a goal down to a 2-1 lead.
Liverpool proved why they are still title contenders in the second half. Jordan Henderson scored in the 69th minute to complete the come
back after Mohamed Salah got them level four minutes from the restart.

Porto had a goal ruled out by VAR; and it would’ve been their winning goal against Atletico Madrid.
It finished as a goalless draw with Chancel Mbemba picking up a late red card for Porto to also end the match with a man down.

Liverpool - 3 points
Atlético Madrid - 1 points
Porto - 1 point
Milan - 0 points

GROUP C
Dortmund and Ajax were away winners.

Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland gave Dortmund a 2-0 first-half lead that proved good enough for a win against Besiktas, while Sebastien Haller made his Champions League debut with four goals that got Ajax a 5-1 win in Portugal against Sporting CP.

Ajax - 3 points
Borussia Dortmund - 3 points
Beşiktaş - 0 points
Sporting CP - 0 points

Sheriff Tiraspol - 3 points
Real Madrid - 3 points
Inter Milan - 0 points
Shakhtar Donetsk - 0 points

GROUP E
Robert Muller’s deflected shot opened the scoring for the match, and Robert Lewandowski’s second-half brace sealed a 3- 0 win at the Camp Nou for Bayern Munich.

Dynamo Kyiv and Benfica finished in a goalless draw.
Bayern Munich sit top of the group with 3 points and a plus 3 goal difference. Benfica and Dynamo Kyiv are second and third respectively, while Barcelona have some work to do at the bottom of the pile

Bayern Munich - 3 points
Benfica - 1 points
Dynamo Kyiv - 1 points
Barcelona - 0 points

GROUP F
Young Boys are the surprise leaders in the group in the group after coming from a goal down to beat Manchester United. Young Boy’s 2-1 victory against Manchester United was enough to get the top spot after Atalanta and Villarreal played out a 2-2 draw.

Young Boys - 3 points
Atalanta - 1 point
Villarreal - 1 point
Manchester United - 0 points

GROUP G
All members of Group G could not find a win in the first round.
Three of the four penalty calls in the first half were awarded to RB Salzburg, yet the match ended in a 1-1 draw with
Villarreal.

Lille and Wolfsburg ended up in a goalless draw.
Lille had a goal chopped off because the ball went out of play during the attacking play. Wolfsburg had to play the final 30 minutes with a numerical disadvantage when John Anthony Brooks got sent off for yellow card accumulation.

RB Salzburg - 1 points
Sevilla - 1 points
Lille - 1 points
Wolfsburg - 1 points

GROUP H
It was a narrow victory in the end but Chelsea kicked off the title defense with a win in front of their home supporters. Romelu Lukaku’s headed goal was the difference-maker.
Things are not going to plan in Italy but it went to plan in Sweden for Juventus. A first-half three-goal lead was all Juventus needed for the win against Malmo.
The group is split in half.
Juventus and Chelsea on three points and Zenit and Malmo on none

Juventus - 3 points
Chelsea - 3 points
Zenit Saint Petersburg - 0 points
Malmö FF - 0 points
