Highlighted Weekend Fixtures (October 28)

Could you really be considered a fan of football if you allow these weekend fixtures to go by without catching at the very least a half?

On October 28, 2017, keep this list of mouth-watering fixtures on you for the coming weekend.

Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspurs (English Premier League)
This is a match that will surely shape the title race.
Manchester United will be looking to avoid a consecutive league defeat when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Old Trafford in the 10th round of the 2017/18 Premier League season. Both sides are on 20 points and have suffered just a single defeat in the league. The only advantage Manchester United has over Tottenham at this point is goal difference and home field. Both sides have shown that they can attack and defend when the match requires it.

AC Milan vs Juventus (Italian Serie A)
They hold the most league titles in Italian football, but this fixture hasn’t been much of a contest in recent times. Juventus has been dominant in the league and Milan is still searching for a way to get back into the conversation when top Italian teams are mentioned.

Bayern Munich vs RB Leipzig (German Bundesliga)
These two sides gave us some very entertaining matches last season. RB Leipzig in recent years has done a marvelous job to put their name in the list of title contending sides in the German Bundesliga. Many fans already know what Bayern Munich is capable of.

RB Leipzig(3rd) has accumulated 19 points from 9 league matches while Bayern Munich(2nd) has managed a point more, which equals that of league leaders Borussia Dortmund. With Borussia Dortmund playing away against a Hannover 96 side that is patrolling around the top area of the league standings, this could be the opportunity for either Bayern or RB Leipzig to climb to the summit after the 10th round of the 2017/18 German Bundesliga.
Their meeting in the DFB Pokal on Wednesday took penalties to find the difference between the sides. Leipzig had to play with fewer men from the 54th minute after Naby Keita was sent off on a red card.
